About Us

Established 1903 - 121 years, still owned and run by the Elphicks family.

Jonathan Pittams, the fifth generation and great great grandson of Edward William Elphick, officially joined the business in 2012. He is very much involved in the day to day running of the company along with mother, Sue and Father, Kim.

Jonathan rates this success on a shared vision and great sense of family values. In a world of internet and digital shopping, Elphicks has retained its charm and appeal, attracting customers from far and wide.

Keeping up to date with current trends has never been more important, and Jonathan sources furniture and interiors from around the world to make sure we have the style and quality that our customers are looking for. Being a part of the AIS buying group ensures competitiveness within the market, that enables us to provide the service our customers know and love us for.

Our award winning furniture business has been given another reason to be proud. Alongside 'Family Business of the Year 2019' and 'Retailer of the Year 2013' awards won previously, we had the pleasure of going to Wembley Stadium to celebrate being Finalists at the National Business Awards 2023!
